MASWM VP To Be Honored as Woman of Distinction
Lauren Hall, CEO of Southeast Enterprises in Kansas City and vice president of MASWM, will be honored at the 10th annual Women of Distinction awards luncheon banquet on Thursday, Sept. 25, at the Adams Pointe Conference Center in Blue Springs.The awards are hosted annually by The Examiner newspaper. They recognize 20 outstanding women for the good works and contributions they have made bettering the community throughout Jackson County. Honorees represent leaders in business, government, education, community and not-for-profit areas.
Hall has served as CEO of Southeast since 2018 and, previously, was founder and managing partner of a consulting firm working with individuals and organizations.She earned a Bachelor of Arts from Graceland University in Lamoni, Ia., in English Literature and a Master of Public Administration from the University of Kansas with an emphasis in non-profit leadership. Her other experience involves both the private and public sectors, including 18 years in the printing and communications field as vice president of Sales and Relationship Management, and as lead project manager for the International Headquarters of Community of Christ and executive director for HealthEd Connect serving women and children in sub-Saharan Africa and Nepal. She has served on the boards for the non-profits PeaceworksKC and Outreach International.
