MORA Plans Conference, Offers Discounts, Workshop Scholarships

The Missouri Recycling Association Conference Sept. 22-24 is offering scholarships for workshops to attend.

An early registration discount is also available until July 26.

For more information on the scholarships visit this link. The Kaysinger Basin Regional Planning Commission/Quad Lakes Solid Waste Management District and the Department of Natural Resources Waste Management Program are fundng this scholarship program.

The event will be at the Hilton-Branson Convention Center, 200 E Main St, Branson, MO 65616. Book your room by Aug. 21 to receive the special group rate ($139/night + fees).

Amy Aussieker, Executive Director of Envision Charlotte, will be the keynote speaker. She has spent 25 years of her career influencing and bringing together individuals, companies and groups to reach a variety of milestones including large fundraising efforts, substantial sales achievements and most importantly, meaningful community goals.  Over the last six years, Amy has led one of the most effective sustainability nonprofits in Charlotte – Envision Charlotte.  With her leadership, the organization has successfully implemented groundbreaking projects that have positively impacted the community and been internationally recognized. Over her career she has been honored with many awards including Business Journal’s Top Women in Business as well as being named one of the 50 Most Influential Women in Charlotte.
