Workshop All Stars Recognized in Kansas City
This year, during Job One's "Shining Stars Employee Holiday Celebration" Dec. 3, the award presentations included recognizing "Job One All Stars."
One team member from each of Job One’s locations was selected for his or her outstanding performance. These individuals inspire others around them each day with their dedication, perseverance and positive attitude.
These employees are always willing to lend a hand and consistently shine bright.
The All Stars honored are Beau Bloss, Independence; Celester Ford, Grandview; Katie Howard, Secure Document Solutions (SDS); Will Kelly, Recycling Center; Dana Betsworth, Ability One Community Employment; and Maya Eiland, Job One Careers.
Cherish Caputo has joined the Board of Directors for Job One in Kansas City.
Job One, a nonprofit organization that has been providing employment services for individuals with disabilities in the Kansas City Metro area for 50 years, recently recruited Cherish Caputo as the newest member of their Board of Directors.
Cherish Caputo is a Business Applications Project Manager with Visit KC. She begins her three-year term on the Job One Board effective immediately.
Caputo has served on the Job One Marketing and Business Development Committee since its origination in 2016. She is also the daughter of a Job One employee and is passionate about advocating for individuals with disabilities. “Ms. Caputo brings a personal understanding of the needs and challenges individuals with disabilities face in the workforce,” noted Job One President and CEO Aaron Martin. “In addition, her professional expertise has been and will continue to be a huge asset as we progress with our long-term strategic growth plans. We are thrilled to have her aboard!”
Caputo is an accomplished technical analyst and project manager with a dynamic skill set that she hopes to bring to her new board position at Job One. She has been recognized for strategic planning, problem solving and leading strong teams that exceed organizational goals by generating increased revenues, reducing expenses and creating an enhancing client experience.
Caputo was selected to be a college professor, teaching classes on Customer Relationship Management (CRM) tools and Content Management Systems (CMS), as well as other critical business and operational topics. She received her undergraduate degree in Business Administration from California State University-Sacramento, her master's degree with a management information systems concentration from Baker University and recently obtained her Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute.
